Pampered

I had myself pampered today, i actually just arrive from the parlor, i had my hair undergo cellophane treatment and my nails on manicure. It was quite sometime when i visited salon due to my busy days, thankl God i have time now, i feel relaxed now, hopefully i could do this at least once a month.hehehhe

Conjoined Twins

I was so shocked when i read the news on conjoined twins, im speechless, wondering what it is? well heres the definition on it:

Conjoined/Siamese twins are identical twins or non identical whose bodies are joined in utero. A rare phenomenon, the occurrence is estimated to range from 1 in 50,000 births to 1 in 200,000 births, with a somewhat higher incidence in Southwest Asia and Africa.[1] Approximately half are stillborn, and a smaller fraction of pairs born alive have abnormalities incompatible with life.

The overall survival rate for conjoined twins is approximately 25%.[2] The condition is more frequently found among females, with a ratio of 3:1. [1]
Two contradicting theories exist to explain the origins of conjoined twins. The older and most generally accepted theory is fission, in which the fertilized egg splits partially. The second theory is fusion, in which a fertilized egg completely separates, but stem cells (which search for similar cells) find like-stem cells on the other twin and fuse the twins together.

The most famous pair of conjoined twins was Chang and Eng Bunker (Thai: อิน-จัน, In-Chan) (1811–1874), Thai brothers born in Siam, now Thailand. They traveled with P.T. Barnum's circus for many years and were billed as the Siamese Twins. Chang and Eng were joined by a band of flesh, cartilage, and their fused livers at the torso. In modern times, they could have been easily separated.[3] Due to the brothers' fame and the rarity of the condition, the term came to be used as a synonym for conjoined twins.

Thats the crusade now of people for fast recovery of foremr Pres. Cory Aquino, which she is recently suffering from colon cancer. From the headlines, the family and relatives of Mrs. Aquino is in deep pain as she showing worst condition, miracles and prayers is what can save her now, says her significant others. As of now, the former democracy icon is just in deep sleep as she underwent her pain management therapy, To the family, we will always pray for her fast recovery.

Im here again doing my usual updates,.,i decided not to take this blog forgranted so as to create traffic, thank God i have already visitors,thanks to them. Annoying Running Nose

My day seems not so good, when i woke up i felt im not feeling well, true indeed i have running nose and a bit of colds, so disapointed since i have so many things to do today. I will just buy med today so that i will be relieved, how about you guys, how was ur day?

Update

Well, nothings new here, as usaual i am just so busy. Tomorrow will be our branch anniversary and we prepare small celebrations hopefully it will end up successful. Im doing this post from an internet cafe, and im planning to take a leave maybe next week after my out of town trip, lets see if i have time.

How was your day?

how was your day guys? hope everything is fine, well as for me i considered this day as boring one, i went home just about 2 pm because i was so tired, before i knew it, i was able to get a good sleep as the rain was pouring hard. Now i am planning to my reports before the weekends comes. I missed my bf already, he actually went home. I missed our usual bonding, hey boy, i really missed u.

If there is one remarkable career in the limelight, i guess no one superseeds that of MIchael Jackson, the music and pop icon. Thouh a lot of Hollywood superstars were born every year but then the moves of MJ is still that of one of a kind. Thus, the news of his death last June 25 shocked a lot of people not only from Hollywood but from all other places, his remains still under autopsy for investigation and further studies to resolves issues of his death. Nevertheless, this unlikely king of pop, will be forever be remembered as he is very instrumental in uniting people and promoting peace and solidarity to mankind, among his greatest hits includes, we are the one and heal the world. This will always be a top hits for all seasons. To michael, Thank you for the music, and you will always be a legend.
